E' preoccupante che di quella che da sempre è la sezione più interessante degli Oscar FOREIGN LANGUAGE FILM "As It Is in Heaven" (Sweden) "The Chorus" (France) "Downfall" (Germany) "The Sea Inside" (Spain) "Yesterday" (South Africa) io abbia visto un solo film, sempre che "The sea inside" sia quello che penso.

Io ho visto "The Chorus" e l'ho trovato un buon film, non eccezionale, però. Per tutti gli altri zero assoluto: sei in buona compagnia. :)

lo spagnolo "mare dentro" è senz'altro da vedere (e il protagonista meritava una candidatura). sbagliata l'assenza nelle nomination di meryl streep (eccezionale in "the manchurian candidate"). mi dispiace per l'italia, ma "le chiavi della città" non mi era proprio piaciuto (come non mi è piaciuto "ray").

Comunque a mandare Le chiavi di casa come candidato e non le conseguenze dell'amore mostriamo il nostro costante tratto autolesionistico, quello che ci ha fatto candidare Pinocchio invece di Respiro; La chiavi di casa è un film tanto algido e attento a non cadere nella commiserazione o nella indifferenza che è assai noioso. E da una giuria americana, pur colta come quella che sceglie il miglior film straniero, non mi aspetto prebende per un film senza verve. C'è anche da dire che lamentarsi di non aver vinto Venezia paga. Chi sarà il regista lamentoso e poi mandato a gareggiare per gli Oscar dell'anno prossimo? beh....pienamente d'accordo con te

A mio parere probabili vincitori sono: miglior film: The Aviator migliore regia: Martin Scorsese migliore attore protagonista: Jamie Foxx migliore attrice protagonista: Hilary Swank migliore attore non protagonista: Alan Alda migliore attrice non protagonista: Natalie Portman miglior film straniero: Mare dentro

Non saprei... Aviator e Scorsese li pronostico anch'io Hilary Swank sicuramente no (ha vinto troppo di recente), quindi dico Kate Winslet. Attore non so... se la giocano DiCaprio e Foxx, ma quest'ultimo ha entusiasmato di più... e se non vincesse qui vincerebbe come non protagonista. Attrice non protagonista: o Natalie Portman o Cate Blanchett Attore non protagonista: Foxx se il protagonista lo prende DiCaprio, altrimenti Alda.

Dunque dunque, assolutamente d'accordo per la vittoria di "Mare dentro", un capolavoro. Mi trovo invece in disaccordo per quanto riguarda "The manchurian candidate", filmaccio delirante e sconnesso in cui Merly Streep sì recita bene, ma non vale abbastanza per un Oscar. Su Scorsese ho i miei dubbi che il premio gliel'assegnino ora, non avendolo ricevuto per "Toro scatenato", "Taxi driver", "Quei bravi ragazzi"... sarebbe quasi un insulto. Si dice che Scorsese sia visto di cattivo occhio dall'Academy perché "non hollywoodiano" e il fatto che non sia mai stato premiato è come una sorta di "riconoscimento" nei suoi confronti da parte di Hollywood; si dice anche (parole di un critico intervistato nei contenuti speciali del dvd di Raging bull) che con tutta probabilità l'Oscar gli sarà consegnato alla carriera. Poi se lo vince quest'anno con "The aviator", buttate pure le mie parole nel cesso. ^^
